The tractor industry started in Charles City when, in the winter of 1901, Charles Hart and Charles Parr built the first factory for tractor production. The museum tells that story, along with all facets of early pioneer life in their home, school, church and businesses.

Hours:

Year-round, Mon-Fri 9-4:30. June-Aug, Sat & Sun 1-4.

Admission:

$5 adults, $3 children (6-12 yrs), under 5 yrs free.
