Learn about Iowa’s only president at the Herbert Hoover Museum. Hoover campaigned on the platform to restore prosperity to American farmers. His first action as President was to call a special session of Congress to pass the Agricultural Marketing Act of 1929. The Museum is one of the thirteen such institutions operated by the National Archives and Records Administration.

Hours:

Daily 9-5, closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Admission:

$10 adults, $5 seniors (62+), active/retired military with ID, and college students with ID, $3 children 15 yrs and under, children under 5 yrs free.
