Event Description
Imagine you are a freedom seeker- a runaway slave traveling Iowa’s Underground Railroad in 1853. Who can you trust? Will you make it to freedom? Or will you be captured and sent back into slavery? During our simulated Underground railroad program, you will encounter slave catchers, farmers, bounty hunters, and abolitionists while trying to navigate your way to Canada.
