Winners of the 2008 Photo Contest Silos & Smokestacks National Heritage Area is pleased to announce the winners of the second annual photography contest. The contest, themed Capture the Heart of America showcased the beauty of the Heritage Area through more than 150 photographs, submitted in five unique categories. Photographs were received from 49 entrants in three states; including Iowa, Minnesota and Texas. The fall harvest season is upon us, so don't miss the opportunity to explore the Heritage Area and get a head start on photos for the 2009 contest, to be announced this coming spring.
