Winners of the 2009 Photo Contest

Silos & Smokestacks National Heritage Area is pleased to announce the winners of the third annual photography contest. The contest, themed Capture the Heart of America showcased the beauty of the Heritage Area through more than 350 photographs, submitted in five unique categories. Photographs were received from 106 entrants in seven states; including Alaska, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The seasons are changing quickly, so don't miss the opportunity to explore the Heritage Area and get a head start on photos for the 2010 contest, to be announced this coming spring. Click here to sign up for updates.
