Story & History Matter Workshop

A hands-on workshop to organize and implement an oral history project.

Has your organization discussed starting an oral history project but do not know where to start? Do you have seniors in the community who “carry the town’s history” in their memory? Do you want to enhance your community’s history? Is it finally time to capture the stories before they are lost forever? If so, here is an opportunity to learn how to organize, implement, and utilize an oral history project from the staff of the Grout Museum, who have conducted over 1000 interviews.

Registration Deadline: June 10
Cost: $45 /person affiliated with a designated SSNHA site
         $55 /person for all other participants
         Fee includes lunch, materials, and admission to museum
Capacity: 30 Participants
