General Grant Program

Silos & Smokestacks General Grants help fund agricultural related interpretive projects in the Heritage Area including exhibit development, educational programs, interpretive signage, marketing, and event programming. In an effort to expand the modern agricultural story in the Heritage Area, greater consideration will be given to projects and programming that incorporate interpretation of the current day ag story. Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations, local/regional governments or federally recognized Indian tribes with projects located within the Heritage Area. Grant awards range from $1,000 to $10,000. Deadline to apply is Friday, August 31, 2018, by Noon CST.
