is a checklist to aid tour planners, tourism specialists and professionals, economic
development groups, volunteers, tour guides, and organizations interested in developing
tours that help tell the story of American agriculture.

- CampSilos
is an educational Web site highlighting the development of American
agriculture. Targeting students in grades 4-8, the site provides online educational
material related to the natural prairie, pioneer farm life, early agricultural technology,
the story of corn from its early Indian origins to the present, and 21st century
technological advances including applications of GPS and biotechnology.
This site features student activities, teacher lesson plans, and links to national
standards. Students can even watch the birth of baby pigs!

- Country Heritage
Community Field Trip Guide
is a new field trip guide for teachers and students in Northeast Iowa. It features field
trip activities to historic and natural attractions, museums, and educational
opportunities in Allamakee, Clayton, Fayette, and Winneshiek Counties. The guide's
165 pages provide 35 detailed lesson plans including pre-activity, on-site, and
post-activity student field trip lesson ideas.
