The Cedar Falls Historical Society preserves and interprets the history of Cedar Falls through five historic buildings, including the Ice House Museum where ice harvesting once contributed to the local agricultural economy. The Ice House suffered extensive damage in the flood of 2008, but efforts are being made to re-open as soon as possible. 
Hours: Ice House Museum: Grounds open, currently closed to tours. ?R? Little Red School House Museum: May 1-Oct 15, Wed, Sat, Sun 2-4:30. George Wyth House and Viking Pump Museum: By appointment. Victorian Home and Carriage House Museum: Year-round Tues-Sat 10-4, Sun 1-4. Behrens-Rapp Visitor Information Center: May 1-Oct 31, daily 8-8.
Admission: Free, donations accepted.
