An interactive children's museum emphasizing the arts and sciences for children age 8 and younger and their adult caregivers. The Family Museum includes AMAZING ACRES, a permanent exhibition devoted to teaching young learners about the importance of agriculture, food production and weather impact on growing regional crops. 
Hours: Memorial Day thru Labor Day, Mon-Sat 9-5, Sun 12-5; Labor Day thru Memorial Day, Mon-Thur 9-8, Fri-Sat 9-5, Sun 12-5.
Admission: $6 visitors 2-59 yrs, $4 seniors (60+), children under 1 yr free. $3 Mon-Thurs evening after 5.

Long Description With the opening of the Prehistoric Playground the Family Museum now offers a new Dinosaur-Themed Birthday Party. Museum instructor and resident dinosaur expert, Mr. Glenn, will provide an Animal Defenses workshop for your party guests in our Celebration Room. Book early, Mr. Glenn has limited availability. For the younger child we offer our Dinosaur Game party which includes a dino-drop, dinosaur bowling, and a dinosaur hunt. Rates, in addition to the Basic Party Price: Mr. Glenn's Dinosaur Party: Saturdays only. Up to 8 children $50.00 additional; 9 children and more $75.00 additional Basic Dinosaur Party: Available any time. Up to 8 children $35.00 additional; 9 and up $50.00 additional

Long Description Spanish is the third most widely spoken language in the world, with 417 million speakers worldwide. Introduce your child to Spanish through our comprehensive, year-long exploration of language and culture. Taught by Valerie Alves, an experienced preschool instructor and native Spanish speaker, this unique program uses a creative hands-on curriculum to build language skill. A wide variety of activities, including games, music, and group interactions, are used to build vocabulary that reinforces and encourages successful communication in Spanish. Lessons focus on daily language used by students, and each student is encouraged to speak Spanish and have fun!
