WATERLOO, IA – The Grout Museum District and the Black Hawk Astronomy Club will be holding Star Parties on the 3rd Saturday of every month now-September 2018 at Prairie Grove Park, Waterloo.

Star Parties are free and open to the public. Black Hawk Astronomy Club Members and Grout Museum staff will be on hand to point out current constellations. Telescopes and binoculars will be available for viewing the night sky. Activities will also be provided for children. Feel free to bring your own telescope so you can share your astronomy knowledge with others. If you know nothing about astronomy, bring your curiosity!
