Coloring Contest Rules:
- Children who reside in Iowa, age 12 and under, are eligible to enter. Age categories for entry are:
- Age 5 and Under
- Ages 6 – 9
- Ages 10 – 12
- Children may choose any one of eight coloring pages. Only one entry/child. Blank coloring sheets may be picked up at Silos & Smokestacks Headquarters at 305 W Park Ave, Waterloo – or – downloaded below.
- Entries will be judged for neatness, use of color, creativity.
- Only crayons, colored pencils or markers may be used. No gluing on of extra materials or embellishment will be allowed.
- Prizes (Awarded in Each Age Category):
- First Prize: T-shirt, Silos & Smokestacks Swag Bag, 1 Free Ticket to Grand Opening Celebration, and Award Certificate.
- Second Prize: Silos & Smokestacks Swag Bag and Award Certificate.
- Third Prize: Silos & Smokestacks Swag Bag and Award Certificate.
- Deadline for Entries: Wednesday, June 30. Child’s name, age and parent contact information must be completed for entry to be eligible Completed coloring sheets may be turned in to Silos & Smokestacks Headquarters at 305 W Park Ave, Waterloo – or – scanned and emailed to marketing@silosandsmokestacks.org. *Please make sure your electronic file is in color.
- Winners will be announced on July 9, 2021. First place winners will be recognized at the Silos & Smokestacks Farm to Table/Grand Opening Celebration.
*If you’d like to keep your physical entry, please pick it up from Silos & Smokestacks Headquarters by Friday, July 30.
