Event Description
The African American Museum of Iowa will honor William Hood, Flora Lee, Henry Davison, and Rufus & Betty Johnson at Kirkwood Hotel September 10, 2015 at 5:30pm. Every year the AAMI chooses four individuals who have been trailblazers in their field, a change agent in their community, a role model for all people, or left a lasting legacy. History Makers have come from a wide variety of professions, ages, backgrounds, and life experiences. Join us in honoring these outstanding individuals. We hope to see you there.
