EVENT FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

COMMUNITY MEMBERS ARE INVITED TO TOUR FARM and food destinations,  ENJOY SAMPLES, TOURS, hands-on kids’ activities AND MEET THE farmers WORKING TO MEET THE GROWING DEMAND FOR LOCAL FOOD IN THE DRIFTLESS REGION. This year’s farm Crawl has a special focus on farm-to-school, highlighting the many ways schools are working to educate the next generation about healthy soil and healthy food.

YOU CAN BEGIN YOUR TOUR AT ANY OF THE LOCATIONS; IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO START AT FARM #1.

EVENT HELD RAIN OR SHINE.

Featuring Six Local Food Destinations:
Alternative Learning Center School Garden, Dubuque Rescue Mission Communtiy Farm, Sinsinawa Mound Cooperative Farm, Kristi’s Perfect Produce, Two Onion Farm, & Honey Hill Organic Farm & Apiary

Organized by a coalition of community organizations including the Iowa State University Dubuque County Extension & Outreach, Four Mounds Foundation, and Dubuque Rescue Mission with support from SSNHA, Farm Credit Services of America, Sustainable Dubuque, and Clarke University.
