Event Description

The Grout Museum District will hosting the Annual Cabin Fever Quilt Retreat.  These activities will coincide with the opening of the museum’s newest quilt exhibit “What’s In a Name: The Soul of a Quilt” and the final weekend of the exhibit “Apron Chronicles.”  The two-day event will feature two guest teachers and lectures, EllynAnne Geisel and Karan Flanscha who will teach, demonstrate and entertain participants.  Classes, dinner lectures, gallery talks, an apron fashion show, a mini flea and more will be offered.  For more information call Robin Venter or Sarah Nefger at the Grout Museum District at 319-234-6357 or visit our website www.gmdistrict.org.
