Event Description
Experience both modern and traditional gardens in the Amana Colonies for Colonies in Bloom! This self-guided tour will take you through the colonies to several unique gardens to view vegetables, fruits, greenery, perennials, annuals, and much more. A map with information on the participating gardens will be available in print at each garden location as well as at several local businesses and online. Participation gardens will be open for the tour from 10am-4pm.

Many gardens on this walk are at private residences; please be mindful of neighboring yards and private spaces as you enjoy the tour and talk with the gardeners during Colonies in Bloom! Printed Maps will be available at the Amana Colonies Visitors Center and the Amana Heritage Museum, as well as at several businesses in the Amana Colonies and each participating garden site.
