Event Description

Explore the importance of corn to farmers in the 19th century. Help shell and grind corn at the 1900 Horse-Powered Farm. Walk into the corn fields to survey the potential corn crop and see the tools needed to process corn in the past. Take a peek in the farmhouse as staff prepare a farmhands’ dinner, take a horse-drawn wagon ride, and view harvesting machinery demonstrations.
