Event Description
Come to the Grout Museum and have some fun on the farm. You can visit our exhibit “It’s Not Your Grandparents Farm” to see the history of farming, then participate in some fun farming activities. We’ll be reading Dr. Seuss’s, “A Cat in the Hat” and relating it to the many hats that today’s farmers must juggle. At 1:00 – come dressed in your best farming outfit for a fun Farm Fashion Show (prizes will be awarded). Hunt for treasure in our “bushel” of corn, make ice cream, pet farm animals, go on a scavenger hunt and other fun activities.
