Event Description
The Oakhill Jackson in southeast Cedar Rapids is one of the oldest intact neighborhoods in Cedar Rapids. Sites related to local African-American, Syrian, and Bohemian history are highlighted on this tour, as well as the history of Jane Boyd and Tyler School. This tour is a collaboration between the History center and the African American Museum of Iowa. Tours are $5 for History Center or African American Museum of Iowa members and $7 for the general public.
