Event Description

A  Party with a Purpose: Tahitian Party Fundraiser for Brucemore

Dreaming of a tropical getaway full of relaxation, delicious food and beverages, and quality time with friends and family? Look no further. Brucemore’s annual Tahitian Party fundraiser, supporting preservation of the historic site, is on June 9 from 6:30 to 10:00 pm. Toss on your tropical attire, grab a drink, and dance to the sound of the steel drum band. Inspired by Howard Hall’s Tahitian Room, this evening of paradise will be one to remember.

Brucemore’s mission is to engage the public in the history, traditions, resources and on-going preservation for the enrichment of the community. Each year more than 45,000 people visit Brucemore for tours, festivals, family activities, outdoor theater and more. Staff, Trustees and volunteers work diligently to preserve the 26-acre estate and its seven historic structures so that the community may continue to enjoy Brucemore for years to come. Preserving the buildings and grounds is essential to the site’s continued use.

Tickets for the party are $60 per person. Personal and corporate sponsorship levels are available beginning at $125 with additional benefits offered; donations are tax-deductible less the ticket fees. Purchase a ticket by visiting www.brucemore.org or calling (319) 362-7375. Onsite parking is available by entering the Linden Drive gate. On-site food and beverage is included with purchase of a ticket.
