Event Description
“Underground Independence” see and hear about the 1870’s in downtown Independence. See the former street level. Wear your walking shoes and bring bottled water. This is an annual event sponsored by the Buchanan Co. Historical Society-mill division (proceeds for new mill roof-west side). The 3rd Sat. of July and August are the 2 tours scheduled for 2013.
