Event Description
In the first part of this two part vegetable class series, come and learn about all of the different ways to create a garden in your own backyard this season (container gardening, planting in the ground, hay bale planting, and more)! See a demonstration of proper planting techniques performed by volunteer gardening enthusiast and expert, Sara Jansen, and have the chance to practice your gardening skills by planting a tomato plant in our Edible Garden.
Participants will get to take home a starter tomato plant to help them begin their beautiful veggie gardens!
Cost of class is $10. Be sure to reserve your spot early as space is limited.
