Event Description
This fascinating series features the work of preeminent performance artists who will expand the traditional definition of art using sound, video, and the human body. Co-sponsored by the University of Northern Iowa Department of Art. Free admission
Preach R Sun is a conjurer and ‘fugitivist’ – “implementing social issues and political activism as performance matters.” He is essentially, an activist using performance art. He most often works on the street with guerilla actions, but also in festivals and galleries. He uses performance and video as tools for social change – to further his mission of liberation.
