Event Description
Join the AAMI for a brand new program on Sunday, November 19 from 1:00-4:30 PM at the Indian Creek Nature Center. Using fresh and local produce helps both our planet and our plates, but how do we make that happen? Learn more about Iowa’s Black farmers who are leading this charge, check out ways to grow your own herbs in the winter, and explore ways to eat more sustainably. Program partners and vendors include Matthew 25, Black Earth Gardens, Southern Goods Farm, the ISU Master Gardeners, Practical Farmers of Iowa and more!
