While searching to collect Devonian fossils, visitors may also wander through native prairie which made Iowa an agricultural leader. View the beehive kilns utilized by the Rockford Brick & Tile Company and learn how they helped the expansion of agriculture. The Visitor Center contains exhibits on all of the various aspects of the Park.
Park Open Daily-Sunrise to Sunset
Our Learning Center will be open on Saturdays—May 2, 9, and 16—from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Beginning May 23, the Center will be open daily from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Starting September 8, hours will shift to Saturdays and Sundays only, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, through October.
The Center will close for the season on November 1 and remain closed until May 2027.
No Admission Fee, Donations are accepted.
