Overlooking the scenic Cedar River in downtown Waterloo, the Waterloo Center for the Arts offers something creative for the entire family: changing gallery exhibits, classes, outstanding facility rentals, special events, gift store, the Phelps Youth Pavilion (interactive children’s museum focused on cultural & agricultural exploration), Mark’s Park (free outdoor splash pad and playground), and the RiverLoop Amphitheatre and Expo Plaza (outdoor spaces for concerts, events and festivals). The Center also holds the largest public collection of Haitian artwork in the US, Midwestern works by Grant Wood & Thomas Hart Benton, American Decorative Art, and International Folk Art.

Galleries: Free; Phelps Youth Pavilion: $5/person; Dollar Days 3rd Thursday of every month & open late until 8pm: $1/person; Saver Sundays: $3/person. * Children 12 yrs and under must be accompanied by adult.
