Silos & Smokestacks National Heritage Area is proud to once again sponsor the Family Farm class in the 2013 Iowa State Fair Photography Salon. This class, which preserves the important story of America’s family farms, began in 2010 as a special theme class and has continued on as part of the Salon’s permanent classes. With a total of 112 Family Farm photos submitted to during the 2013 Photo Salon, the class has established itself as one of the most entered of the Salon’s special divisions.
