Froelich’s 1890 Village: home to John Froelich’s 1892 invention of the first gasoline tractor to propel itself forward and backward. Far reaching in its effect on modern agriculture throughout the world. This invention is forerunner of John Deere. Tour highlights: Froelich Tractor Replica, 1891 General Store, Post Office, 1866 One-Room School, Blacksmith Shop, Railroad Depot, Warehouse, Vintage Barn and Semi Building.

Open 2nd weekend of May - last full weekend in Sept, and the first two weekends of Oct. Mon, Thurs, Fri, Sat 10-5, Sun 11-5.
