Plum Grove is the home of Iowa’s first territorial governor, Robert Lucas, and his wife Friendly. Once a 360-acre farm, the home is now on a four-acre tract gently surrounded by Iowa City. The home is furnished to the period of the Lucas occupation from 1844-53. Site includes three period gardens and archaeology exhibits.
