Event Description

For Kindergarten to 3rd Grade

Black Hawk County Extension and Outreach 4-H program presents: Curious Science Detectives.   Join us for some summer fun and learning at your Public Library.  During this free summer program children (K-3rd grade) will be given opportunities to engage in hands-on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) activities, crafts and games.  The Curious Science Detectives will explore how rockets soar through the atmosphere, and why huge ships can float in the water.  The detectives will uncover clues to solve a mystery, and learn why the weather changes. There is so much more for the detectives to discover about how the world works around us.  We are looking forward to discovering science with you!
