Event Description
The State Historical Museum’s “History Alive!” education program presents “Living the War: Back Home and Overseas.” The free show connects audiences to a pivotal time in the nation’s history through historical theater and examination of artifacts from the Museum’s collections. The Des Moines Playhouse’s Final Act Ensemble will perform “Broadcasting to the Troops, 1943,” recreating a World War II radio program live-on-stage.
