Celebrate an old-fashioned holiday at the Mathias Ham Historic Site through a series of special events leading up to Christmas. Home for the Holidays will feature specially curated tours highlighting holiday traditions of the Victorian Era with weekly crafts, entertainment, and specialty activities. These events are made possible with support from the City of Dubuque Arts and Culture Special Projects Grant program.
Held every Saturday and Sunday Nov. 30 through Dec. 22 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, Home for the Holidays features costumed guides sharing Christmas traditions of the Victorian Era. Each weekend will explore a different theme. Sleigh rides, caroling, and a visit from Santa are included in the family fun. Admission is just $7.50 for adults and $4 for children 3-17. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Members of the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium receive free admission.
