Event Description

Join us for an informative program with our Conservation Program Manager, Codi Sharkey, as she unravels the captivating history of Iowa’s most treasured ecosystem, the tallgrass prairie. Discover how this landscape laid the foundation for our fertile rich lands, the following destruction, what is left and what we can do to replenish this diminishing ecosystem.

Following the presentation, Codi will lead a tour of our Greenhouse, providing a closer look to our conservation efforts.

The two-hour program will take place in the MRC Journey Theater and will commence at the Greenhouse.
