Event Description
Andy Anderson’s many adventures include bicycling across the USA, but he’s probably best known as a mountain climber. Andy has climbed notable mountains in four continents.
In May 2017, Andy and a cousin became the first Iowans to reach the summit of Mount Everest from the north (Tibet, China). In this edition of 2nd Sunday Speaker Series, Andy will describe his climb to the top of the world’s highest mountain, Mount Everest, and other adventures he’s accomplished since the climb.
There is no cost to attend and no registration is necessary.
