Northeast Iowa – Silos & Smokestacks National Heritage Area (SSNHA) will be hosting a free webinar, “Cash is King: Managing Cash Flow for Nonprofit Organizations,” on Tuesday, March 25, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. CST. The webinar will be taught by Curt Klotz, Finance Director at the Nonprofits Assistance Fund. He has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 25 years, both in program and financial management roles.
In the realm of nonprofit finance, cash is king. Organizations need to understand the ebbs and flows of their cash to make smart management decisions that will protect their core programs and overall sustainability. This webinar will show how to anticipate and prepare for cash bumps in the road before they appear. Participants will learn how to navigate their nonprofit’s cash flow and how different types of income and expenses impact finances. They will learn how to avoid and manage cash flow challenges. After this webinar participants will be able to: manage their nonprofit’s cash flow and build a cash flow projection.
“It’s important all nonprofit organizations understand how to manage their cash flow and anticipate the unexpected,” commented Don Short, SSNHA President.
There is no cost for this webinar, but registration is required by March 19. For more information or to register for this webinar, visit www.silosandsmokestacks.org/partner or call 319-234-4567.
