Event Description

Snakes Alive is a National Touring Program that offers an exciting, hands-on, educational experience!  You can touch, hold and talk to the friendly “critters” used in the program.  Snakes Alive will have several snakes, an alligator and other reptiles on display.  This is a good opportunity for you to learn more about these mysterious animals, how they live, what they eat and how they eat it,  how they make it through the winter and why some reptiles live in warmer climates.  There will be time after the program to get up close to the animals used in the program.  Bring your camera to document the program.

Come early to view the different exhibits at the center and  stay later to hike one of the many trails at the Mines of Spain Recreational Area.
