Event Description
Do you enjoy taking pictures? Have some good shots of local wildlife or landscapes? Show them off with Mitchell County Conservation Board! We are hosting a photography contest to be judged in January. To enter, please visit us at the Milton R. Owen Nature center for a registration form, or visit our Facebook Page to print your own. All entries must have been taken in Mitchell County and there is a $3.00 registration fee per photo. Please submit a mounted 8X10 print of the photo as well as a digital copy. The photos will be on display for a “people’s choice” award throughout the contest, so be sure to stop out to the nature center often and check out these great shots! Winners in each category will be judged by local photographers and have their photos featured in 2014 Calendar. A Grand Prize of a free matting and framing from Frames & More, and free photo printing from the Stitchery Nook will be awarded. For more information call or visit the Milton R.
