The Dysrt Historical Society will host a program on Bees at the Agriculture Museum on Sunday, June 30th, starting at 2:00 P.M. Stan Geiken, retired Benton County Extension Education Director, will bring the portable bee display and his bee keeping equipment. (The display hive and the beekeeping equipment are available thanks to a grant from FB White Rhinehart.) Mr. Geiken will be explaining about the importance of bees to our food supply and also the many beneficial by-products from bees. There will be activities for children, honey tasting, door prizes, and refreshments. The entire Museum complex will be open from 2:00 P.M.until 4:00P.M., and everyone is welcome. There is no admission charge for the day’s events.
