Come join us in a Celebration of all that is Hawkeye! FRY fest presented by MidWestOne Bank is a one-day event to kick off of the UI football season Hawkeye style.
With activities ranging from the ‘World’s Largest Hawkeye Tradeshow’ to our signature Hawkeye Pep Rally featuring the Iowa Spirit Squads, Herky, and the Hawkeye Marching Band, there is no shortage of activities to take part in. FRY fest High Porch Picnic Concert: Starting at 5:30pm FRY fest kicks off a High Porch Picnic Concert featuring headliner country artist David Nail, special guest Craig Campbell and opening act Jake McVey. A high porch picnic is a Texas expression for “an exep-tionally good time”, and is a great way to describe Coach Fry’s glorious career as one of the college football’s most unique coaches. With an atmosphere that’s hard to beat, you won’t want to miss out on an evening full of country music, good food, and quality time with family and friends. Beverage garden and concert are general admission and accessible to all concert attendees.
