Event Description
It’s not often you turn 150 years old, but the City of Cresco is doing just that this year! You are invited to Cresco’s Sesquicentennial, July 22-24, 2016 and be prepared to have FUN! We’ve got some big-name entertainment for the low price of $20 and you’ll be able to see Rock Godz on Friday and Sawyer Brown on Saturday. There will be great food, tours of all kinds (even a cemetery tour), contests and games for all ages, the longest running, outdoor Art Show, a Fly-In Breakfast (and you can take a plane ride after breakfast), Cruise to Cresco; a car show with vintage entries and new this year: alternative energy! There will be craft vendors, more music throughout the weekend, and the chance to visit Dr. Norman Borlaug’s Boyhood Farm and Birthplace! When Cresco puts on a party of the century…or a century-and-a-half – you won’t want to miss the fun. See you in Cresco – in July!
