99 Years of 88 Keys

Dr. Uriel Tsachor will present an exclusive spring recital at Montauk Historic Site, Clermont, on Sunday April 27th, 2014, at 2:00 pm. A seasoned concert pianist and pedagogue at the University Of Iowa School Of Music, Dr. Tsachor will entertain the audience by playing Montauk’s historic 1915 Mason and Hamlin grand piano.

Tsachor has appeared in recitals in Belgium, France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Cyprus, Israel, Taiwan, Hong Kong and numerous major cities in the United States.

Winner of major competitions such as the Queen Elizabeth and Busoni, Tsachor is a graduate of the Tel-Aviv Academy and the Juilliard School where he earned his doctorate.

Tsachor will be celebrating the 99 years of the Mason and Hamlin grand piano at Montauk. He will be featuring music by Frédéric Chopin and Robert Schumann.

A tea will be served following the concert to give the audience an opportunity to meet and visit with Dr. Tsachor.
