Event Description
Visit the Amana Heritage Society’s High Amana General Store along with several other locations in the Amana Colonies for the Holiday Haus Walk, organized by the Amana Arts Guild! Four unique homes in the Amana Colonies will be featured on this tour, along with the High Amana General Store, the West Amana Blacksmith Shop, and Amana Arts Guild in High Amana. The High Amana General Store and the Amana Arts Guild’s Popup Art Show are the perfect places to finish up your holiday shopping!

What does the former Upper South bakery, the former West Amana Bakery, the West Amana Blacksmith Shop, a Middle Amana Wagon Shop, the former High Amana Church, the High Amana Store and a former communal kitchen in Homestead have in common? These are the homes and businesses that will be featured in the Amana Arts Guild 2025 Holiday Haus Walk. Please make some time on December 6th or 7th to tour four beautifully restored residences. Also that weekend, Cory Nevitt, our blacksmith will be working in West Amana at the Blacksmith Shop so stop on by! On Saturday only, from 10AM to 4PM, there will be five Amana artists featured in a Popup Art Show in the Arts Guild building located at 1210 G Street in High Amana. This will be a great opportunity to find personal and handmade wonders for your holiday gift giving!
Your ticket is usable for either day of the Haus Walk tours
Tickets will also be available for purchase at tour sites

$20 fee | This fee goes directly to the support of our nonprofit’s mission which provides diverse programing and activities that include a wide range of cultural experiences in all areas of the arts.
