Event Description
Join us for an exciting behind the scenes preview of Step Afrika! Prior to their performance at Hancher Auditorium, the dancers will perform, discuss, and teach the blend of percussive dance styles practiced by historically African American fraternities and sororities.
They will demonstrate how stepping has been influenced by traditional African dance and a variety of other dance and art forms in a performance that integrates songs, storytelling, and humor.
