Event Description
Join the African American Museum of Iowa Sunday April 3, 2016 at 4pm at the Cedar Rapids Barnes and Noble for a reading and discussion of “The Turner House” the debut novel of Angela Flournoy, graduate of the University of Iowa Writer’s Workshop. This National Book Award finalist and a New York Times notable book of the year follows the lives of an African American family as Detroit crumbles around them.
