Event Description

Brucemore is excited to announce free admission for the annual Brucemore Garden and Art Show on Saturday, August 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The historic landscape will provide the setting for more than 45 artist and garden vendors from across the Midwest showcasing unique products, including ceramics, plantings, jewelry, sculpture, glass, textiles, and more. Educational opportunities, interactive displays, and demonstrations will captivate attendees. Main stage presentations will feature New Pioneer Food Co-Op, Brucemore garden staff, Linn County Master Gardeners, and more. The Ceramics Center will offer free activities for children and families throughout the day. Cedar Rapids Linn County Solid Waste Agency will provide free compost to all interested attendees.

 

Admission is free. Parking is off-site, except for handicap parking which is only available by entering the First Avenue gate. Shuttle service is available from Washington High School throughout the day. No pets, coolers, or outside food allowed during the event. Food and beverage vendors will be available on-site. The Brucemore Garden and Art Show’s presenting sponsor is New Pioneer Food Co-Op. Additional sponsorship provided by Cedar Rapids/Linn County Solid Waste Agency and Penford Products.
