Event Description
The Brucemore Outdoor Children’s Theater is proud to present Sleeping Beauty, August 3-6 at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. in collaboration with Theatre Cedar Rapids. Enjoy an enchanting evening outdoors as Maleficent captivates Princess Aurora and the audience during this classic fairytale. Watch as Prince Phillip fights to save his betrothed, Aurora, and end the evil curse that has been placed upon her. Being an original script written by Erica Jo Lloyd, the actors have a chance to interact with the guests and take advantage of the natural scenery surrounding them by emerging from the woods or being dunked in the pond.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children under 10. Gates will open at 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. Brucemore Outdoor Children’s Theater is made possible by the sponsorship of US Bank and ImOn Communications.
