Event Description
This 5K race will feature an off-road course and unique “animal” themed challenges along the way.
Be prepared to have fun and get a little wet and/or dirty!
This event is family friendly, so please no drugs or alcohol.

All funds from registration and donations support environmental education and will be used to create interactive displays for the Milton R. Owen Nature Center. Registration will also qualify as membership to the Mitchell County Environmental Education Foundation.
Prizes for best “wildlife or nature” themed costume (both team and individual)
Check-in:
7:30-8:30 a.m.
(no registrations after 8:30)
Race starts at 9 am
“Critter Crawl” (12 and under) will begin at 10:45
Awards:
First place: Individual & Team (all 3 team members must cross the finish line together)
Best costume: Individual & Team
