Free Guided Tour of Hageboeck Hall of Birds

Event Description
Explore the Museum’s Hageboeck Hall of Birds 6–7 p.m. with a guided tour led by Dr. Jeff Klahn, retired professor from the UI Department of Biology. Visitors will take flight with the world of birds from Iowa and beyond while touring the museum displays, and will learn more about bird anatomy and characteristics through interactions with hands-on specimens.
Bring your love bird! A drawing will be held at the end of the tour for a chance to win a Valentine’s Day Pack from Molly’s Cupcakes and two Hancher tickets to see Miguel Zenón in concert at The Mill at 10 p.m., Thursday Feb. 14.
