Event Description
February 22nd at 7:00 p.m. Dr. Richard Baker, Professor Emeritus and Former Chairman of the Geology Department at the University of Iowa, will answer questions about the Grand Canyon, such as: When and why did the canyon form? What is happening there today? What is the plant life like in the canyon? Dr. Baker will use visuals to show what can be learned about this beautiful place from the exposures in the canyon walls.
