Event Description
See what a road trip was like for Iowa’s early pioneers. “Pack Your Wagon” in a fun activity, See a real Conestoga wagon, examine objects that settlers brought with them, and decide what you would bring in a “Pack Your Wagon” activity. Then show off what you learned in a “Create Your Own Pioneer Adventure” game based on the four historic trails featured at the Council Bluffs center: the Lewis and Clark, the Oregon, the Mormon and the California.
